Taivas

I was on my flight from Amsterdam to Helsinki and it was my first trip to Finland. There was a Finnish girl next to me and we were talking about the Finnish culture, language and other stuffs ;)

There was when I learned my first Finnish word over the clouds. I asked her to tell me a word in Finnish. She looked out of the airplane window, where there were all sporadic pure clouds on the blue background. Then she took a sip at her red wine and said “Taivas”.

I thought that Taivas means sky but she translate it paradise. However, after a few months living in Finland I learned there is just one word for both sky and paradise.

It's snowing outside...

I experience my first snowy Finnish days... It's just amazing. (This picture is my window view)

Not Smoking Area...

I was sixteen-year-old-boy when smoke my first cigarette of my life. So i can say I've been smoking for eight years by the age of twenty four. And I enjoyed every single fag that i smoked. But I have made a deal because of some personal issues, No more cigar in Tampere. Then here the non-smoker Amir goes...

Today is nineteen of September 2009 and I was born twenty-four years ago in a same date. However, my birthday party does not look like every year when I used to have a surprise party with lots of gifts and bunch of flowers. I am four thousand kilometer far from home living in one of the countries in Scandinavia, a lovely city call Tampere.

I am a fresh international student in the school of Art and Media (TAMK) a four-year degree program.

Although there is no present and delicious cake with some candle on it, I have tried to make the cake that is in the picture. It is misty to call it as a cake. It is just a slice of bread, honey, sugar and some butter. Since I am new here, I could not find a pastry.

Nevertheless, this cake with one big candle it is not for me. It’s Blog! Since the blog couldn’t blow the candle. I made a wish and did it for both. A wish which god knows.

This blog will contain posts of different aspects of my life in Tampere such as school stuffs, events and any thing comes to my head! Posts will be in English, Persian and in near future Finnish language.
